Managing Your Account
Log into the Takumo Lite app or website and go to Settings → My Account to:
● Update your name, email address, or phone number
● Change your password
● View your booking history
● Set your preferred language
● Delete your account
Viewing Your Booking History
Go to My Bookings to see all past and current bookings. Each booking shows the status, destination, carrier, and tracking information. You can download a booking summary for any past booking.
Deleting Your Account
Go to Settings → My Account → Delete Account. Confirm the deletion. Your account and personal data will be removed from Takumo's active systems within 30 days. Note that booking records that are part of the hotel's 7-year archive may be retained for compliance purposes with personal details anonymised where possible.
The personal information you provide in Takumo Lite — your name, contact details, and destination address — is used solely to create and manage your luggage forwarding booking. Specifically:
● Your details are printed on the shipping label and provided to the carrier
● Your email is used to send booking confirmations and tracking updates
● Your data is stored securely in Japan-based cloud infrastructure
● Your data is not sold or used for marketing purposes
● Your booking record is retained for seven years as required by Japanese business record law
