Your QR Code and Wallet Pass

When your booking is confirmed you receive a QR code. This is your key for handing over your luggage at the hotel desk. This article explains everything about your QR code and how to use Apple or Google Wallet.

Where to Find Your QR Code

●      In your booking confirmation email — look for the large QR code image

●      In the Takumo Lite app — go to My Bookings and open your booking

●      In your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet if you saved it there

How to Use Your QR Code at the Desk

Simply show the QR code on your phone screen to the hotel staff member. They will scan it, your booking details load automatically, and they will proceed to weigh and measure your bags. You do not need to print anything or fill out any forms.

💡 TIP

Make sure your phone screen brightness is turned up before showing your QR code — a dim screen can make scanning difficult.

Saving to Apple Wallet

In your booking confirmation email or in the Takumo Lite app, tap Save to Apple Wallet. Your booking pass is added to your Wallet. You can find it in the Passes section of your Wallet app. The pass updates automatically with your tracking status as your luggage moves.

You can show the pass from your Lock Screen without unlocking your phone, making it very convenient at the hotel desk.

Saving to Google Wallet

Tap Save to Google Wallet in your email or in the app. Your booking pass is added to your Google Wallet. Access it from the Wallet app or by searching for Takumo in your Wallet passes.

Lost Your QR Code

Do not worry. Log into the Takumo Lite app or website and go to My Bookings. Your QR code is always available there. You can also check your email confirmation — search for Takumo in your inbox.

If you cannot access your account or email, go to the hotel front desk and give them your name and email address. Staff can search for your booking in Takumo Pro and complete the handover without your QR code.
