Setting Up and Managing Branches
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
A branch in Takumo Pro represents a physical hotel property. If your group operates multiple properties, each property is a separate branch under one account. This allows you to manage all properties from a single login while keeping bookings, labels, and reports organised by property.
Adding Your First Branch
Go to Hotel Settings in the left sidebar, then select Branches. Click Add New Branch and complete the following fields:
● Branch name — the property name as it will appear on labels and in the dashboard
● Address line 1 and 2 — the full street address in Japanese and English
● City and prefecture
● Postal code — enter in 〒 format (e.g. 104-0028)
● Country — Japan for domestic branches
● Receptionist name — the default contact name for carrier communications
● Phone number — used on waybills as the sender contact
● Email address — for booking confirmations and carrier notifications
Click Set as Main Branch if this is your primary property. The main branch is the default pickup location for all new bookings.
Adding Multiple Branches
Repeat the process above for each additional property. Each branch has its own carrier configurations, pickup schedules, and label settings. Staff can be assigned to specific branches so they only see bookings relevant to their property.
Editing or Deleting a Branch
Click the branch name in the Branches list to edit any details. To deactivate a branch without deleting it, toggle the Active switch to off. Deactivated branches retain all historical booking data but cannot accept new bookings.
⚠ IMPORTANT You cannot delete a branch that has active bookings or archived records. |
